Lyndon & Langham
The brief from from this customer was “Classic Country Kitchen”, which was almost certainly achieved.
The first job on the agenda here, was to remove a wall to make the dining area part of the kitchen to really open up the space, we installed steels, replastered walls and ceilings, used exact match floor tiles and you would never know that this was once two separate areas.
One of the many unique aspects of this kitchen is that a number of the doors were painted in our workshop in the precise colour that the customer wanted. When placed back with the classic Lyndon Oak the end result was spot on.
Another highlight of this project was the fantasic hob area. The 90cm FlexInduction hob and extractor fan were installed in their own alcove where a range cooker was removed with a bespoke height mantle added to frame it. To make the most of the recessed areas created by the hob area, we installed a microwave with a cupboard over set back against the wall ensuring maximum use of the space. Also specified as a different use of space was the installation of wicker baskets to create an open storage area, proof that not everything has to be behind a door to look neat and tidy.
The added touches of the ‘Uba Tuba’ granite and solid oak worktops really finish the whole room giving a fresh comfortable homely feel.
